Okay, so it seems like everyone is doing one of those "2009 Year Reviews". I'll hop on the bandwagon.

2009 has been one hell of a fuckin' year for me. I can't generalize it as All Up or All Down, but here's a few points of note:

*In April I resigned from a job I had been at for 9 years. I had a combination of reasons- mostly that it just wasn't fun anymore, add that to the fact that my body couldn't take the beatings anymore.
*I discovered what unemployment and dealing with bureaucracy feel like. They fucking suck. They suck big fat hairy festering sweat-covered smegma ridden balls. Yes, that's how I really feel.
*I had a hell of a time making ends meet for about 6 months. I worked as a cab-driver, a carpenter and tried to ply my wares as a photographer before being picked up as a Teacher of sorts to future generations of Me. The cab-driver was fun as hell. This teaching gig is pretty righteous too.
*I got a new baby daughter. And she is 'blessed' with a blooded combat veteran for a father.
*I've gotten some works planned for the upcoming year. Some pieces that have been burning in my head for a LONG ASS time. And a couple of gift arts, and lastly- the commissions that have been waiting for ALMOST 2 YEARS! A hearty thank you goes to those two customers for waiting until I can get settled in- I'll get with you when I get The Beast set up.

I'm a few days late with October's "Props", but we have to deal with that- I've got a new job that' staking up a great deal of my time. Art will come. I promise!!!

As it stands- I think props this month should go to....




Shye is seriously one of those people that you can't help but feel something for. I haven't met her personally, but I keep meaning to somehow swing out her way and do either a workshop with her and her counterparts, or just sit around the bonfire and drink our drinks like Perry Farrel at a P4P concert. Shye also gets props for being a Nikon User.

Firstly, let me say "Thanks" to everyone that has stopped by my page, DevWatched me or Fav'd any of my pieces. Since joining dA about 2 years ago, I've had over 4000 views, which for me is an unheard of amount of exposure while still keeping my clothes on.
I've tried to be active in as much as I could- but there have been, are, and will be times that I may disappear for a bit. This used to be due to my job, but now since I'm gaining employ at a different place with no true need for Classified Access that won't be much of a problem. The only remaining true reason for my absences are due to mental and emotional difficulties (a side effect of my old job) that I am coping with. I would love nothing more than to constantly be here spamming the refresh button on the front page and catching wonderful new people to watch or pieces to fave, but I have to do right by myself first- mostly to give you guys what you want...

Secondly, I have decided to dedicate myself to finding and rebuilding my graphics station. I'm missing that art too damned much. Once I find it, you guys will be the first to know.
